A selection from the bistro In the gourmet carvery this month we are featuring "Thirlmere chickens". These chooks are free range and pasture and grain fed, giving them a plump "chef mezza" marinates them with his special mix of lemon and oregano then chars them slightly on the grill, then into the oven. The result is a crispy skin and unbeleivably moist meat. Team this with some paris mash, spiced pumpkin and baby corn, with bread all for $16 ...you cannot go wrong. |
| From the other side of the bar staff profile this month is Emily Emily is the sister of an old mate of the grosvenor's ex wallaby Justin "googs" Harrison. Emily has been working at the hotel for about 6 months now. Emily is great behind the bar or in the bistro, she is also a wiz on the computer with menu designs etc. She is a favourite with all the crew here (except when boring us all with details of her latest "future husband"). Emily is currently doing her masters in international studies and also works with adults with disabilities (not here), and hopes to one day work with the U.N fave hangout besides the Grosvenor? loudest Wallaby fan you've ever heard at a match? most agro Wallaby you've seen? |
